You might know it for its iconic landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the Painted Ladies. San Francisco is also home to a diverse population, a rich culture, and a thriving economy. In addition to its many attractions, San Francisco is also a beautiful city with a mild climate.

3-day travel itinerary in San Francisco

Day 1

🔹 Arrive in San Francisco and leave your bags at your hotel

🔹 Spend the day exploring SF on the Hop-on hop-off bus and getting down at the stops you are interested in. A few of the stops include: Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Fisherman’s Wharf, Painted Ladies, and many more.

🔹 After a quick freshen-up, go out for dinner and drinks

Day 2

🔹 Start the day with a delicious brunch

🔹 Then enjoy a wine tasting at a winery in the iconic Napa or Sonoma Valleys, or in San Francisco city.

🔹 At night, check out one of the many neighborhoods that offer different kinds of nightlife vibes.

Day 3

🔹 Take the ferry to Alcatraz Island for a tour of the infamous former federal prison. The tour takes around 2 to 3 hours long.

🔹 Afterward, enjoy a late lunch and stroll at Pier 39 in Fisherman’s Wharf.

🔹 Before leaving SF be sure to get on a cable car and/or drive down Lombard St.
